I strongly believe that the cornerstone of our health, adults, and children, is quality sleep.  A well-rested child is happy, full of energy, playful, and eager to learn and develop. Parents are happier, more rested, and able to give their best to their family, employer, and friends on a daily basis.  Marriages and relationships improve, and parents can take back their evenings, without the dread of bedtime and another sleepless night.

PARTNERSHIP AND SUPPORT

I believe in the power of a partnership and supporting parents through this journey is what I do best. I find that many parents believe that suffering through exhaustion and sleep deprivation is a rite of passage and required to be a parent. Many of times bad habits are formed out of desperation and for years parents are “held hostage” by brutal routines. I’m here to offer parents an alternative to this myth and HOPE in any situation.  You can count on me to listen and validate your feelings along the way.

The advice I give is based upon evidence-based studies and research, as well as my training.  I’m constantly expanding my knowledge and continuing my education, so I can offer parents the most up-to-date information out there on topics such as breastfeeding and sleep, AAP safe sleeping standards, and helpful children products.

You will never feel like you’re in the dark and don’t know what to do.  Whether it’s a bad nap day or your child is sick, I will give you easy to follow guidelines for handling any situation that arises.

Teaching your child to sleep can be intimidating and new for you too.  The guidance I offer will help you through the process. I’ll also be there to celebrate victories along the way!

I WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO MEASURE SUCCESS AND WHAT TO EXPECT ALONG THE WAY

Every child is different and so will their journey to sleep. I will encourage you to keep reasonable expectations and praise the highs and work through any difficulties with you.

THE GOAL

I encourage parents to have an active role throughout the process and be right there with their child, to offer encouragement and keep that special bond. You wouldn’t just send your child outside with a bike the first time and say, “have fun, see you in an hour.” My goal is to give parents gentle solutions to their child’s sleep and equip them to handle any situation in the future.

Perhaps the most important thing I want parents to know is that I offer realistic plans that make success in reach for all children and parents.  There is no cut and paste or “one size fits all” approach to sleep. Every child and family have different needs and that’s what’s so great about my plans, parents always have a say. The customization of my services is unique and the reason why my success rate is so high.
